In 2013, I bought my first DSLR and immersed myself in digital photography. I was drawn to landscapes first – quiet, patient, and always welcoming. With time, my interests expanded to include astrophotography, cityscapes, architecture, and occasionally street photography. While I continue to evolve as an artist, I’ve never lost sight of what photography means to me: it’s a meditative, rewarding process that invites me to slow down, observe more carefully, and connect with both the grandeur and subtlety of the world around me.

After retiring from a long career in corporate management in 2022, I began devoting myself to photography full-time – not as a profession, but as a lifestyle. I now spend as much time as I can out in the field, often during quiet weekday hours that once belonged to meetings and deadlines. There’s something profoundly therapeutic about being alone with a camera in nature, watching light shift across a landscape, or capturing the beauty of architectural form.

For a long time, I kept my work private. But after seeing my children take the initiative to print and frame some of my images as a Father’s Day gift – and later preparing a few prints myself – I realized it was time to share my vision more widely. That’s what this website is about: not promotion, but connection.

If my work moves you, I’d be honored to know it’s found a place in your home or office. If not, that’s perfectly fine too. I photograph for the joy of it, and for the stillness it brings to my life.

Thank you for visiting – and for seeing the world through my eyes, even if just for a moment.

I’m not a professional photographer, nor do I aim to be. Photography, for me, is not a job – it’s a deeply personal and fulfilling form of expression.

My journey began in the early 1980s, when I joined my high school’s photography club. We worked with film, developing and printing our own images in the darkroom. I was captivated by the process, and spent countless hours experimenting, learning, and soaking in the magic of watching an image come to life.

Life eventually pulled me in other directions. College, a demanding career, and family took center stage, and photography faded into the background. It wasn't until 2012, after the passing of my father – a man of purpose and discipline who lost his drive in retirement – that I truly reconsidered what I wanted for my own future. I knew I needed a passion to carry with me into the next chapter of life.

That passion was photography.
